The 1980’s — Interior Landscaping Grows-up

During the 1980’s interior landscaping became a mature industry. Just as office designs became more commerical and corporate, plant selection and design matured to match.  Plant propagation and growing became high-tech with new improved tissue-culture species (test-tube plants!) and large corporate plant farms. Improved containers and products were now available nationwide. 

During the mid-1980’s, Botanicus changed to focus strictly on Commerical Plants and Service, expanding to Rochester in 1983.  Here are a few photos of accounts during the 1980’s:
